Memories of India opened in 1991 as a takeaway with many regulars asking Shazan (owner) when the restaurant was going to be open, a transformation which took place in 1995.
Inside is a smart and spacious dining room with enough tables to cater for everyone from intimate couples to large groups, with Indian pictures and authentic music giving the place a mystical feel.
Memories of India has won a clutch of awards, including a gold from the European Food and Drink Organisation, a Master Chef’s Roll of Honour and a Gourmet Wining and Dining Award.
